ERASING DRIVE IN PC3000

Erasing drives is used to securely delete the data that is stored on them. When we delete files from a drive, the data is not actually erased, but rather the space it occupies is marked as available for use. This means that the data can possibly be recovered and poses a security risk. Erasing the drive overwrites the data with zeros to make it unrecoverable.
