How to extract files from .7zip archive with 7zip

Step 1: Install 7-Zip

  1.  Click here to download program for Windows 64-bit system.
  2. Run the installer.
  3. Follow the setup instructions to install 7-Zip.

Step 2: Locate the .7z File

Find the file you want to extract. It will have a name like example.7z.

Step 3: Right-Click the .7z File

  1. Right-click on the .7z file.
  2. In the menu that appears, select EXTRACT ALL

   3. Select the folder where you would like your files to appear by clicking on Browse and then selecting folder on your PC. Click Extract.

Step 5: Wait for It to Finish

A small window will appear showing the progress. Once it's done, you’ll see a new folder.
Open that folder to see your files!
