Seagate backup plus 5tb external drive longer reads anything
21Aug24: Hello, i have a seagate backup plus 5tb external drive that no longer reads anything. it spins and i have no reading. The number on my PCB is the same as the one you are selling. If i simply swap them, will my hard drive read all the files stored? Thank you.
Unfortunately data recovery is not this simple and requires a professional to correctly diagnose and solve.
Seagate Expansion HDD 5tb with no activity when connected via USB
11Feb25: This seagate shows no signs of activity at all when you connect the usb connector. Usually the drive spins up and makes a connection beep sound on the pc. But this doesn't even trigger the led. We were able to recover all the data by bypassing the usb adapter.
