Barracuda LP ST2000DL003 Data Recovery Caselog
07JUL26: The Seagate ST2000DL003 arrived with detection problems. It goes busy when you try to ID it. PN: 9VT166-301. FW: CC32. Barracuda Green. PCB: 100617465 Rev B. We were getting unsable flickering of the ata status register lights. We could access the firmware ok via terminal but no id via ata. Because the drive is rusty and corroded looking we decided to check the pcb. It does look clean but closer up you can see some slight discolouration. After replacing the pcb this drive was working fine and we got all the customers data back.
