01Dec25: This 8TB IronWolf hard drive was removed from a set of 2 from a SYNOLOGY DS223J nas system. The system failed during a lightning storm even though it had a ups. Both drives were presented to us being completely zero filled. There is a reset button on the back and we were told that staff and IT support tried to reset the synology software. The pcb is 100871827 REV A and has 2 rom chips winbond Q33JWUS13. The family is C6 CimarronBP Exos. Firmware is locked: BootCode is locked! Use programmer for ROM reading! The USON 4x3 mm chip.
