After our team at Zero Alpha, opened the SSD from its plastic casing, we could identify important information. Many SSD's are stored in a plastic casing for aesthetic looks but more importantly, protect the electronic components from physical damage, moisture, and electrostatic discharge (ESD). The plastic casing also provides insulation to prevent the electronic components from coming into contact with other metal objects or surfaces, which could potentially cause short circuits. Bare in mind, opening SSD's and hard drives from their casing may void the warranty and if is an issue, it must be told to the engineers before assessment.

16May23: Drive firmware repair went ok by uploading loader. But would get stuck on decrypting mode. However sector edit showed normal working sectors. Instead of making task via utility we opened the task via the corresponding port and cancelled any decryption or extra mode features.

20Jan25: This MZ-7KE256 ssd shows ok electronics but stays busy. It does not ID at all and only detects in safe mode as:

Loader uploading fails immediatley and the ssd goes back to busy. Second and Third generation 850 Pros are unsupported.
