Western Digital SN520 SDAPNUW-512G SSD 512GB Data Recovery Case Log
02May2024:Β This SSD does not detect and has dual M key and B Key. Under both sata and pcie connections it just shows normal controller activity with the thermal camera. The sata protocol does not show any indication of working feedback just random lights on the ATA status. The SSD was made 10DEC2019. The electronics test ok as per the above testing guide but the SSD shows a problem in the controller chip with heat at almost 40deg. A chip swap was performed but the memory chip would not read.
