WESTERN DIGITAL 3TB 3.5” WD30EZAZ - DATA RECOVERY
The WESTERN DIGITAL 3TB 3.5” WD30EZAZ is a high-capacity internal hard drive designed for reliable storage. With its 3 terabyte (TB) capacity, it offers ample space for storing a wide range of data, including documents, photos, and videos. Operating at 5400 RPM, it strikes a balance between speed and energy efficiency. Its SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface ensures fast and reliable data transfer rates, making it suitable for personal computers and workstations. The drive incorporates advanced technologies such as NoTouch Ramp Load and StableTrac, providing data protection and accurate tracking of read and write operations. The WD30EZAZ is a durable and reliable storage solution, ideal for users who require significant storage space with reliable performance.
A client brought in their 2 year old hard drive that they could not hear or feel any response to when inserting it into their device. When our engineers at Zero Alpha Data Recovery examined the drive, they were able to identify that the hard drive was beeping and was unable to spin up. This is a clear indication of a mechanical failure within the drive, possibly from the platter, PCB or heads. The beeping sound typically suggests that the drive's motor or other mechanical components are experiencing issues. After further inspection, the process determined to access the data will be a head swap with another compatible donor.
From here, the drive is opened in specialised clean rooms used to keep dust and dirt from damaging the internals of the drive and create a bright environment for the best visibility of the intricate details from inside the drive. We use a T9H screwdriver to loosen the screws. It is important to use the correct screwdriver size when opening up a drive as the wrong size can strip the screw and make it impossible to take out.
Once the heads were swapped with a compatible donor, further scans and imaging of the drive were used to extract the data onto an external storage device of the clients choosing. All data including videos and filetype '.flp' for FL studio project files were able to be recovered using expert programs and processes. It is important to bring your device into Data Recovery specialist like Zero Alpha as soon as you sense a problem for the best chance at success. Our delicate procedures and accumulated knowledge on a large range of devices will provide you with the best service for all data Recovery needs. Don't let a head problem lead to permanent data loss - trust our experts to retrieve your valuable data effectively and securely.
