22Jul24: This hard drive does ID but it makes a weird clicking sound. Like a sqeaky scratch noise coming from the actuator heads as it moves back and forth. Surprisingly we can still get this drive to read data even though it clicks. Sometimes it will reset and continue other times it will make the weird sound when its stopped. 22Aug24 Hard drive is not detecting, freezing up the system. PCB# 800067-001 REV P1. This is a charger drive and comes under the model of My Passport WDBYVG0020BBL-0B. Zero Alpha was able to recover all the data back from this problem.

20May2024 - Drive is clicking and spins up and spins down. Suspected hardware error. The drive was clicking and spinning down. MHA SWAP. Detected via usb,SED locked. Could see the file system in the task but drive had bad sectors and it was slow to read the HFS file system. We were able to get all files and folders back considering the difficult problem.
