Not Detecting WD40NDZM-11BCZS1 Data Recovery Caselog
11JUN26: This USB-C 4TB WD hard drive came in for data recovery at our Brisbane data recovery office. It was not detecting properly. This drive was removed from a My Passport Ultra PN: WDBFTM0040BSL-0D. The customer said they tried running check disk a few times which has also damaged the exFat file system. We converted the PCB: 2060-810033-01 Rev P0 to SATA. It took a day to image the faulty drive as it had 700000 bad sectors. We applied the UA lock. To improved results we also included raw results.
