WD60EZAZ-00ZGHB0 Data Recovery Caselog
22JUN26: This 6tb wd 3.5" hard drive was mailed in for data recovery from Darwin NT. Its already been to a local computer shop who opened the drive and could not recover data. Hard drives should never be opened. It spins up and makes a very bad clicking sound. PCB: 2060-800077-003 Rev P2. This pcb has 3 rom chips but the boot rom is the one closesed to the top connectors. It was also a different chip model than the other 2. The donor drive had all 3 windbond chips but the other 2 were half the size as the rom chip. The family is Venice and it is SED locked. We ordered a donor hard drive and replaced the heads to get data back.
